Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

IJAISSH is an open-access journal that levies an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication. The APC covers peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, and archiving.

Current APC: USD 150 per accepted article.

2. Payment Trigger

An APC invoice is issued only after a manuscript has been formally accepted. Authors are not charged for rejected or withdrawn submissions.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Pre-Publication Withdrawal
If an author withdraws an accepted manuscript before final production files have been generated, a full refund will be issued within 14 business days, less any transaction fees.

3.2 Post-Production / Published Articles
Once the galley proof is approved or the article is published online, no refund will be issued.

3.3 Duplicate Payments
Accidental duplicate payments will be refunded in full within 7 business days. Contact [email protected] with your payment references.

3.4 Waiver Requests
Authors facing financial hardship may apply for an APC waiver before submission. See our Waiver Policy.

4. Cancellation of Submission

Authors may withdraw a submitted manuscript before acceptance without charge by notifying [email protected].

5. How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] with subject "APC Refund Request - [Manuscript ID]" including: your name, manuscript title, payment date, transaction number, and reason for refund. We aim to process requests within 14 business days.

6. Payment Gateway

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Refunds are credited to the original payment method. Card and bank details are handled by Razorpay under PCI-DSS standards.
