Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence, Social Sciences and Humanities (IJAISSH) welcomes submissions of original, unpublished research. Please carefully review the following guidelines before submitting your manuscript.

Manuscript Types & Word Limits

Type Word Limit Abstract
Original Research Articles 5,000–8,000 words 200–300 words
Review Articles 6,000–10,000 words 200–300 words
Short Communications 2,000–3,000 words 150–200 words

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should generally follow this structure:

  1. Title Page: Full title (concise, informative), author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, corresponding author details
  2. Abstract: 200–300 words summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
  3. Keywords: 4–6 keywords for indexing purposes
  4. Introduction: Background, literature review, research gap, and objectives
  5. Methodology: Detailed description of research design, data collection, and analysis methods
  6. Results: Clear presentation of findings with tables and figures as appropriate
  7. Discussion: Interpretation of results, comparison with existing literature, implications
  8. Conclusion: Summary of key findings, limitations, and future research directions
  9. References: APA 7th Edition format

Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt
  • Spacing: Double-spaced throughout
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
  • Page Numbers: Bottom center
  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Citation Style: APA 7th Edition
  • Language: English (American or British, consistent throughout)
  • Figures & Tables: Embedded in the text at the appropriate location, with clear captions

Ethical Requirements

  • All research involving human subjects must have institutional ethics approval (IRB/ethics committee)
  • Informed consent must be obtained where applicable
  • All funding sources must be disclosed
  • All conflicts of interest must be declared
  • All authors must meet ICMJE authorship criteria

Authors must register for an account and follow the five-step submission process. A cover letter is recommended but not required.

Article Processing Charges

IJAISSH charges a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance. For details, please see our Article Processing Charges page. Fee waivers are available for researchers from low-income countries.
